Garden archive: 2nd October 2019

Forage from the wild-but-productive bits of the garden. Bramble, yarrow, broadleaf plantain, ribwort plantain, dandelion, young dock, dead nettle, rose petals. I had plans to do some plain batches of a few last bits after this, but then I had the idea to update this website and so ran out of available time/ energy.

  Further to my mixed foraging, today I harvested the young nettle for the same. Nettles take ages to harvest and prep by hand, but they’re very nutritious so it’s usually worth the effort.
